ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The Lemon Gulch – Avalon Bay project is a collaborative drainageway improvement led by the Mile High Flood District and the Town of Parker, with design provided by Muller Engineering Company and construction performed by Naranjo Civil Constructors. The project delivers critical channel stabilization improvements for future development within the Lemon Gulch watershed. The work includes full channel realignment, grading, and the construction of multiple drop structures and energy dissipation features to reduce long-term erosion, protect public infrastructure, and improve water quality. The project also includes riparian corridor restoration, native seeding, and slope stabilization to support long-term ecosystem function and regulatory compliance. The construction is carefully phased to coordinate with active development and ongoing utility work adjacent to the site.
