OUR BEGINNING

HERMAN NARANJO (circa 1982)

At Naranjo Civil Constructors we strongly believe that “hard work carries the day.” The company has spent 42 years proving it. The company motto began through the determination of two men who created a start-up concrete business with nothing but an impeccable work ethic and their skills as master craftsmen.

In 1982 the company began as H&L Concrete and ultimately grew to an annual revenue of over $1,000,000 by 1999. That same year, Jerry Naranjo joined the firm and the evolution of the company continued. By 2002, the company had started a shift from being a subcontractor to a general contractor and began a focus on river restoration and reconstruction as Naranjo Civil Constructors Inc. By the end of 2003 Naranjo Civil Constructors had grown to 30 employees and had revenues of over $3,300,000 earning them the distinguished “Mercury 100” award as the #1 fastest growing company in Northern Colorado. Fast forward to 2023, and Naranjo Civil Constructors has expanded to encompass over 100 employees, with three regional offices located in Greeley, Denver, and Colorado Springs, and revenues exceeding $36,000,000.

OUR TEAM

At Naranjo Civil Constructors, we’re very selective about who works for us. We hire people who are passionate about what they do. Whether they’re partnering with our clients to develop a strategy for river restoration or resolving issues to keep the project moving forward safely and cost effectively, they approach the task with a positive, can-do attitude, respecting you and your budget at all times.

Our leadership team is comprised of engineers, equipment operators and some of the very best craftsmen in civil and riverine construction. However, our skilled and experienced equipment operators and field superintendents are just as committed to exceptional customer service as our owners. We’re all fanatical about meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.

Our team also knows how to be a part of a larger team of clients and designers, working together in partnership. We are happy to serve as an extension of your staff, working toward a common goal.
