– PROGRESS UPDATES AND USEFUL CONTENT OF YOUR PROJECT SITE –
HUDSON GARDEN
Situated in Littleton, Colorado, just 12 miles southwest of Denver, The Hudson Gardens & Event Center stands as both a botanical garden and a versatile event venue, covering thirty acres of captivating garden exhibits, trails, natural landscapes, and event spaces. Naranjo Civil Constructors (NCC) has undertaken a significant project commissioned by South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPRD) to enhance ecological benefits for the community through a comprehensive lake and stream renovation at Hudson Gardens.
Some of the project’s more technical aspects include draining the lake, removing sludge, and replacing the old pond liner. Following the deepening and regrading of the pond, a new environmentally friendly liner will be installed. To enhance the garden‘s visual appeal, pond ledges will be incorporated for both turf and water plants. On-site stream enhancements will include re-grading the creek to feature cascades and boulder elements. The stream will be lined and reinforced with additional streambed rock. Integral to these improvements are the installation of a diversion inlet structure and a gravity diversion pipe. The final phase will encompass the restoration and replanting of all disturbed areas with native grasses and plants. With confidence in our team’s capabilities, we are committed to completing the project by the spring of 2024.
