The Nissen Reservoir Drainageway project is a crucial initiative undertaken by the City and County of Broomfield in partnership with the Mile High Flood District (MHFD). Notice of Street Closure: Perry Street (Nissen Reservoir Phase 1)

Location: Perry St. between W 120th Ave and W 121st Pl

Roadway Opening Target: July 18, 2025 (weather dependent)

Estimated Project Completion: Mid to Late August 2025 (estimated)

Perry Street remains closed for construction related to the Nissen Reservoir Phase 1 project. The current target for roadway reopening is July 18, weather permitting. The final asphalt surface may be placed under flagger control after that date. Remaining work will continue through mid-to-late August, including trail, irrigation, and channel restoration efforts. A detour is in place for public safety. Access is limited to residents and businesses directly on Perry Street. All other traffic should follow posted detour signage.
