Cottonwood Pond

Naranjo Civil Constructors has been contracted by The City of Colorado Springs to construct Cottonwood Creek Park Detention Pond.  Additional project partners include Colorado Springs Utilities, SWENT, Kimberly-Horn and Associates, Barron Land, Hydroturf and more. The main goal of this project is to increase the stormwater capacity of the detention pond within Cottonwood Creek Park. Additional objectives will include replacing the parking lot, replacing storm/sanitary utility lines, building a stilling basin, trickle channel, outfall structure and other features to improve the overall stormwater infrastructure, detention pond and conditions of the park.
