Project Description

STATE-OF-THE-ART FLOOD MANAGEMENT DESIGNS

For most of the last 30 years, Naranjo Civil has been involved in flood control construction. In the 1980’s Naranjo began building flood control structures as far south as Fountain Creek in Pueblo, Co. This large-scale project administered by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers launched Naranjo Civil into the Denver metro area building flood control projects for Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), South Suburban Parks & Rec (SSPR) and other industry leaders. Today, Naranjo Civil has 6 drainageway crews working at any given time in rivers and drainageway projects across Colorado, applying state-of-the-art flood management designs and collaborating with owners to build environmentally conscious and durable flood control solutions. Urbanization and erratic weather events are continuing to impact local communities and alter flood zones in urban and rural areas. At Naranjo Civil we offer our clients groundbreaking technologies to mitigate and control flood damage, provide field-tested knowledge of the natural environment and an unmatched passion for preservation of the Colorado Landscape.
